My husband told me he was going on a Marine Corp reunion. Instead he met an old girlfriend he had located on Facebook and slept with her. When he returned home, it was obvious that he wasn’t himself (guilt written all over his face). He confessed after I asked him 3x if he had something to tell me. I had a breakdown and spent weeks in the hospital; he visite me one time. I checked phone records, e-mails, etc. when I got home, There were hundreds of phone calls between them and explicit e-mails. He was even calling and e-mailing her every night I was in the hospital. Eventually, he left me for the other woman and I still feel the pain. I thought we had a good marriage of 25 years. I nursed him for three years from a serious injury and tgree surgeries. We also grew up as kids together so we also lost a lifetime friendship. This has torn are children apart. It is only my faith in God that helps me one day at a time. The most upsetting thing is he has never told me why nor been remorseful about what he did.
