When He Doesn’t Admit to Cheating
Sometimes, in a relationship, you just know something is wrong. He will not admit to sexual infidelity, but you know he hasn’t been the same in a while. What can you do to find out the truth?
One really easy approach is to come right out and ask him if he’s been seeing someone else. Tell him the signs that you’ve observed and why you think they mean that something is amiss. Also, let him know that you are not going to overreact, so he feels comfortable enough to be honest with you. This will be difficult, as you may hear some things that are hard on the ears, but it really is important to have everything out on the table if you want to make your relationship work. Even if you have already decided the relationship cannot be saved, it is important to know the truth for a sense of personal closure.
If you cannot take his direct approach for some reason, and you are still struggling for information, one idea is to hire a private investigator. Be careful when you do this to find a reputable investigator and to get regular reports to ensure that you do not get scammed, as these types of services can be quite costly.
You can also just pay attention to his normal schedule and behaviors, and point it out to him when there are distinct deviations from the norm. This will show him that you are on your toes, and may encourage him to come clean.
No matter how you get it out of him, when and if you find out your guy has been involved in sexual infidelity, take a step back, think, and decide calmly and rationally how you will handle his cheating ways. Even if the relationship cannot be repaired, we promise you will recover, and it is not the end of your world. If he cheated, you can move on with or without him. Things will be okay again.
