First of all, you can't say someone has done something wrong or brought something upon herself because she had chemistry with a man. Chemistry is just there, you don't choose it. How can having chemistry with someone be blameworthy if it isn't a choice?

You can't tell her she "shouldn't have had emotional ties". They are what they are. She CHOSE not to pursue it because she was married. Neither of us know how far their relationship went when they were both married. If they were just friends who saw/spoke to each other no more than any other friend, there has been no wrongdoing.

It's also harsh and ignorant to say that if he had cared for her at all he would have married her in the first place as you don't know anything of the details of when they each respectively got married and the circumstances between them at the time. I'm sure they both did what was right for them at the time.

It's also ignorant to say that if he wanted her he'd just be with her, plain and simple. We ALL know life is not that simple, ever. And obviously this man's life is more complicated than most. We are not in a position to know the reasons behind his choices or what drives him to maintain multiple relationships like this. It is possible that your interpretation is true, or gets at part of the matter. But it is far from the only possible interpretation.

Miss Parker was right to leave him I believe, as he doesn't seem able to make a committment to any one woman and she I'm sure needs more than what he could give her at this point in her life. The only choice she made that I don't quite understand is allowing him to move in with her after he had already been lying to her and cheating on her and only came back to her when he was broke and had no where to live. That does not seem like fertile grounds to reestablish a relationship. However, feelings are simple either so I can see how it could happen.

But that's the only place where I could say that it appears as if she's played some part in what happened to her. Otherwise, this man's choices were his own and she was very proactive in getting to the heart of the matter and not just passively allowing herself to be used. I don't think this woman deserved your accusations.

My heart goes out to you Miss Parker for your very unfortunate situation, but you seem to be a strong and clear-headed woman and I know that you will find happiness with another, more devoted man.

Best of luck to you
